Update! The Ministry Of Communication And Information Has Normalized PSE For Origin

JAKARTA - After normalizing PayPal, Yahoo, and Valve Corp (Steam, Dota 2, Counter Strike GO), the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (Kominfo) said that Electronic Arts had registered the Origin.com electronic system.

Director General of Informatics Applications (Aptika), Samuel Abrijani Pangerapan said that the normalization of origin access had been carried out since 14.00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3.

As for PayPal, Kominfo has already normalized it by opening its access on Sunday, August 31 at eight in the morning.

Then followed Valve Corp (Steam, Dota, CS Go) and Yahoo on Tuesday, August 2 at 08.30 a.m. This means that the public can already access the PSEs mentioned above.

On the other hand, the Minister of Communications and Informatics, Johnny G. Plate revealed that he had cut off access to 15 PSE providers of online games that contain elements of gambling.

The 15 PSEs are Domino Qiu Qiu, Topfun, Pop Domino, MVP Domino, Pop Poker, Let's Domino Gaple Qiu Qiu Poker Game Online, Steve Domino QiuQiu Poker Slots Online Game, Higgs Slot Domino Gaple QiuQiu, Ludo Dream, Domino QiuQiu 99 Boyaa QQ KIU, Domino Gaple Boya QiuQiu Capsa, Poker Texas Boyaa, Poker Pro.id, Pop Big2, and Pop Gaple.

"The Ministry of Communication and Informatics has consistently cut off access to gambling content, and so far we have blocked as many as 534,183 gambling content found on internet sites since 2018. This shows our strong commitment to eradicating online gambling," Johnny said in his statement, Tuesday, August 2.
