Hasan Nasbi Talks about the Supreme Court's Decision on MBG and Londo Ireng

Jakarta - Special Presidential Advisor for Communication Hasan Nasbi responded to the Constitutional Court's ruling regarding the budget for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program.

According to him, the government still has time to adjust the MBG budget after the Constitutional Court's decision. Hasan said the government would not comment on the legal decision.

This was conveyed by Hasan at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday, July 31. Hasan again emphasized that the government would regard the Constitutional Court's decision as a legal decision. In addition, Hasan Nasbi also responded to his statement about the government being able to criticize critics.

He also defended the use of the term "londo ireng" which had previously been widely discussed. According to Hasan, the term is not intended for the public in general. He said the term was directed at a certain group who he considered preferred to make noise. Hasan said the term was aimed at a critical group that was suspected of being a "londo ireng".

Hasan also assessed that there were parties who were too pessimistic in seeing the life of the nation. According to Hasan, this statement was an invitation for the public not to make a lot of noise. He said the public should strengthen unity and confidence in their own nation.
