JAKARTA - Spotify Technology SA reportedly died for thousands of users on Tuesday, June 21, according to outage tracking site Downdetector.com.

There have been more than 10.000 incidents of people reporting problems with the audio streaming platform, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by compiling status reports from a number of sources including user-submitted errors on its platform.

The outage may affect more users. Spotify did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Reports of the Spotify site outage occurred at around 4:01 a.m. on June 22. The report peaked at 05:00 a.m., when 8.494, people reported the incident to down detectors.

Luckily, at 6.31 a.m., the report that Spotify had gone out had no longer appeared, which means the platform was running normally again for its users.

As a result of the two-hour blackout, it is not yet known how much damage Spotify or their subscribers must receive.
