JAKARTA - Instagram makes it easy for users to report technical problems that occur on their social media by launching a new feature dubbed Rage Shake.

Users just need to shake their phone with the Instagram app open and a pop-up message will appear allowing them to report annoying technical issues.

"Have you ever used Instagram and it wasn't working as it should? Maybe Stories weren't loading, maybe the audio wasn't working, maybe you couldn't upload a photo and it really pissed you off, really pissed you off?," Instagram boss Adam said. Mosseri in a video upload on his Twitter.

"Now, you can actually shake your phone and a little option will appear that will allow you to report a problem."

Then, after shaking the phone to report, the user can describe what happened to the app and report the problem. Later, the Instagram team will read the message and review it further.

Quoted from TechCrunch, Friday, November 19, Mosseri said this will help the company prioritize bugs and learn other things to fix in the app. Unfortunately, this feature is only available in the US for iOS and Android users.

However, this is not the first time this feature has been developed by Instagram, as Snapchat first introduced the Shake to Report feature, which allows users to shake their phones to report bugs.

The social media giant also rolled out the ability to remove a single item from the post carousel. Posts in the carousel feed can combine up to 10 photos and videos in a single upload. With this change, users can remove items from the existing carousel.

If you want to try it, the user must tap the three dots in the right corner of the post, then select Edit. Then, the user can swipe to the photo or image they want to delete and click the delete icon in the upper left corner. The new feature is currently only available on iOS, support for Android is coming soon.
