Liverpool Captain: Let's Create A Terrible Anfield!

JAKARTA - Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has urged supporters to make Anfield dire for opponents in the coming months as his team tries to win the Premier League title challenge.

The latest game at home proves how popular Anfield is. Newcastle United became a victim of the Reds helpless thanks to pressure from supporters.

The 2-0 win on Thursday, February 27, 2025, left Liverpool now 13 points at the top of Arsenal's standings in second place.

It was the fourth game in a series of five games to test Liverpool in 15 days.

"It (the win against Manchester City) was a big win. I told the players, don't underestimate this victory."

"However, when you come home, get well and be prepared for the next match."

"That's the only thing we have to do. Just focus. Nothing else is important. We want our fans to be in top condition," said Van Dijk.

In the remaining 10 league games, the Reds stumbling blocks remain with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur.
