MotoGP 2025 Schedule In Thailand This Weekend

JAKARTA The prestigious MotoGP 2025 race will take place this week. The series of opening of the most prestigious motorcycle event will begin in Thailand.

The inaugural series is scheduled to take place from Friday, February 28, 2025, to Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the International Chang Circuit, Buriram, Thailand.

This is the first time the first series of races have taken place in Southeast Asia since Malaysia at the Sepang Circuit in 1999. This is because the Losail Circuit in Qatar, which is usually the opening series, is being renovated.

The first race will be confirmed without Jorge Martin. The defending champion just surgery after being injured in an accident so he pulled over to undergo recovery.

However, the fight on the track will certainly remain fierce. Especially will present a fight between Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez.

The two big names are currently both defending the Ducati Lenovo Team. Marquez has just joined the team after spending a season with Gresini Racing last year.

Marquez is currently still trying to hunt down his seventh title in MotoGP. The Spaniard last won this class in 2019 while still with Honda.

The inaugural series later seems not only to involve the two names. Other names such as Fabio Di Giannantonio, Franco Morbidelli, and Alex Marquez are also likely to put up a fight.

The race will begin with free practice on the first day, followed by free practice, qualification, and Sprint Race on the second day, then closed with the main race on the last day.
