JAKARTA - Two months before the film was released, the trailer for Space Jam: A New Legacy was officially released, showing LeBron James' prowess in front of the camera.
The trailer introduces four-time NBA champion LeBron, who will take center stage in the sequel to the 1996 film starring Michael Jordan.
LeBron, through his Twitter account, also promoted the film. "Welcome to Space Jam!!", tweeted @KingJames, adding a carrot emoticon, crown, and bunny face.

The plot of the film, which also stars the Looney Tunes character, tells the story of LeBron who must win a basketball match against evil artificial intelligence (AI) technology to save his son and escape from virtual reality.
The trailer also shows a scene of Lola Bunny playing basketball reminiscent of the iconic action of Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade.
