France Gol Party While Beating Israel In Nations League

JAKARTA - France had a goal party when they beat Israel 4-1 in the Group 2 League A UEFA Nations League match at the Bozsik Arena Stadium, Budapest, Hungary, Friday, October 11, 2024 in the morning WIB.

France maintained a positive trend when playing matches in the Nations League. After starting the fight in this European championship with a 3-1 defeat against Italy, they managed to get up in the next two matches.

France successfully beat Belgium 2-0. Furthermore, Didier Deschamps' team that was not strengthened by captain Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann who decided to retire from the national team finished Israel.

The victory made France remain in second place with six points. Meanwhile, Italy topped the spot after drawing 2-2 against Belgium. Italy itself pocketed the seventh point after playing the first three matches.

"It's a good thing to win a game. Especially when the atmosphere in the squad is not comfortable," said Deschamps following criticism of Mbappe for missing the Nations League match. In addition, France and Deschamps were under pressure after poor results against Italy

"The team's performance is not perfect, especially during the transition. However, with the quality of the players we have, they have played quite well," he said.

In that match, Deschamps lowered the composition of players that was different from predictions. Striker Randal Kolo Muani became the first choice after France was no longer reinforced by Griezmann.

Muani is supported by Michael Olise who shows an active movement with technical quality that is no less slick. However, this 22-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder is still lacking in experience.

Competing in neutral places because Israel was hit by international conflicts, France appeared strong. Midfielder Eduardo Camavinga opened a French goal party after taking advantage of Turni Glazer's mistakes when the game had only been running for seven minutes.

In the second half, France continued to play offensively and did not forgive Israel. They attacked all the way that forced Israel to survive.

But France could only add goals towards the end of the match. Midfielder Matteo Guendouzi who came in to replace Nkunku solidified France's lead in the 87th minute. Furthermore, just two minutes later, Bradley Barcola closed this two-time world champion victory to 4-1.
