Turkish Club Intensively Hunting Players Failed In Europe, This Time Antony Is Targeted

JAKARTA - Super Lig (Turkey League) clubs are aggressively hunting for players. They began to look at Europe's top league players, such as England and Italy.

If the Brazilian striker joins, he will meet the former Red Devils coach, Jose Mourinho.

Last season, he only contributed one goal and one assist in 29 Premier League games.

Although the transfer window has been closed in much of Europe, the exchange is still open in Turkey until September 13, 2024.

According to Sport Witness, Fenerbahce is now aggressively looking for new players. For the time being, the Mourinho club wants to submit a loan proposal for Antony.

They hope that the agreement can be completed as soon as possible. Fenerbahce hopes that Antony's joining can bring the team to the first Super Lig title since 2014.

In addition, Fenerbahce actually doesn't want to lose prestige to their rival, Galatasaray. As is known, Galatasaray has sealed a loan agreement for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

The 25-year-old Nigerian striker failed to go to Chelsea or Saudi Arabia on the day of the Italian and British transfer window. Osimhen is also one of the names his club dumped.

Previously, Mourinho, who just joined Fenerbahce this summer, has brought in players such as Youssef En-Nesyri, Caglar Soyuncu, and Allan Saint-Maximin.
