Persija Is Divorced With Bambang Pamungkas, After The Case Of Confessing A Child Born Not From His Wife?

JAKARTA - The President of Persija Jakarta club, Mohamad Prapanca, stated that his party did not renew Bambang 'Bepe' Pamungkas' contract as team manager.

"Bambang Pamungkas is the manager of the Persija team in 2020 and his contract period has ended in January 2021. However, for one reason or another, management has not extended his contract as manager of the Persija team. Therefore, Bepe is not included in the Persija team list in the Menpora Cup. 2021," said Prapanca, as quoted from Antara, Monday, March 29.

Persija did not include Bambang's name in the list of personnel brought to the 2021 Menpora Cup.

As his replacement, the management of the Macan Kemayoran club appointed a new manager, Muhammad Araaf Sidik.

Thus, Mohamad Prapanca ensured that everything related to Bambang Pamungkas was no longer associated with the Persija club.

Previously, Bepe received a lawsuit from a woman named Amalia Fujiawati regarding child validation and requests for child support. The lawsuit, which was filed at the South Jakarta Religious Court and registered in case number 1223/Pdt.G/2021/PA/JS, had a bad impact on Bepe because he was suspected of having an affair and having children outside of marriage.

Even so, as a legend of Persija, Bepe will always be part of the Kemayoran Tiger.

"Until whenever Bambang Pamungkas will remain a part of Persija. Therefore, we pray that the personal problems he is experiencing will soon find the best solution," said Prapanca.

Persija Jakarta itself is struggling in the 2021 Menpora Cup pre-season tournament.

Being in Group B, where all the games were held at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, Persija, who fell from PSM in the first match, was able to win the next party against Borneo FC and is now in third place in the standings with a collection of three points.

Just above Persija, there is Bhayangkara FC which has four points but lost on goal difference from the leader of PSM Makassar who also has similar points. Meanwhile, Borneo FC is in the lowest position.

Persija's last match in the group phase is against Bhayangkara FC, Wednesday, March 31st. Marko Simic and colleagues must win if they want to qualify directly for the last eight of the tournament.
