Join Team And Jersei, President El Rumi: Nusantara United FC Ready To Compete In League 2

BOYOLALI - Liga 2 club Nusantara United FC (NU FC) officially launched a team and jersey in Boyolali. With the material of players on average young age, club president Ahmad Jalaluddin Rumi stated that Nusantara United's readiness to navigate the second caste competition.

Nusantara United, which is based in Boyolali, Central Java, shows its readiness for the 2024/2025 season competition. Coach Salahudin said the team was physically, tactically and mentally ready. The team launch was attended by Ahmad Jalaluddin Rum alias El Rumi who became president of the club, Boyolali Regent Mohammad Hidayat and Deputy Authority of the Capital Archipelago (IKN) for Social, Cultural and Community Empowerment Alimuddin.

During the launch, El Rumi said NU FC had proven to be the most productive team in Liga 2 last season. This makes NU FC worthy to stay in the second caste.

"NU FC shows that as the most productive and worthy team to stay in League 2. We have also shown readiness to face this season's competition. The team is more solid and has made better preparations," said El Rumi.

"It's just that this team cannot be said to be stable. However, this team still makes me proud given the fact that this team is the youngest in the competition and can meet the target in League 2," he said again.

El Rumi, further stated that the team already had a strong foundation. The team will also combine young players and those who are already seniors such as Supardi Nasir. The team became more confident in welcoming the competition.

"Our consolidation is strong enough. We are also committed to developing young players. This makes us confident in facing this competition. This season's target has not changed, namely promotion to League 1," said El Rumi.

This season, NU FC returned to its home base in Boyolali and hosted its guests at the Kebo Giro Stadium. El Rumi also thanked the residents who provided support for the team while competing in Boyolali.

"We thank the regent and Boyolali residents who have supported us and watched the NU FC match at the Kebo Giro Stadium," he said.

"I hope the Boyolali public will continue to support Nusantara United. We are grateful that Boyolali is in our first house. Once again, the kulo nuwun Boyolali," said El Rumi.

Meanwhile, Salahudin said that the team was fully ready to face the competition. According to him, this season the NU FC squad consists of eight young players who have good quality and mental strength.

"We have made thorough preparations and just waiting for the competition. The players are mentally, mentally and physically ready. The material of the players is also better than last season," said Salahudin.

NU FC is reinforced by three foreign players, defender Sami El Anabi (Maroko), midfielder Shunta Nakamura (Japan) and American striker Jason Romero.

"I'm happy to be joining NU FC," Nakamura said in response to his team. "I'm ready to face the challenge in the competition. I hope the team can go one step ahead," said the former Japan U-15 and U--19 national teams.

In addition to the team launch, NU FC features a new season jersey. For home matches, NU FC still wears a green jersey. While the second jersey is dominantly white and the third jersey is the result of a competition having a design with a red color.
