Japan Open 2024: The Daddies Directly Meet Leo/Bagas In The First Round

The Daddies met Leo/Bagas in the first round of the Japan Open 2024 (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA The Japanese Open 2024 tournament draw has been officially released. Two Indonesian representatives from the men's doubles immediately clashed in the first round of the tournament.

The Japan Open 2024 officially starts on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, until Sunday, August 25, 2024. Indonesia has 10 representatives who will play in this Super 750 BWF event.

Men's doubles is in the sector with the most representatives. Of the five pairs that will appear, two of them will face each other in the first round on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

The two pairs in question are veteran doubles Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan who will fight their junior, Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana.

Japan Open 2024 is Leo/Daniel's debut as a new partner in the official tournament. In the previous composition, Leo was paired with Daniel Marthin, while Bagas was with Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

Daniel/Fikri also appeared at the Japan Open 2024. The other two men's doubles are Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Sabar Gutama Employees/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani.

Fajar/Rian as the fourth seed will also appear on the first day with Sabar/Reza. Meanwhile, Daniel/Fikri will only play the first round on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

In addition to the five pairs in the men's doubles, Indonesia also has two representatives in the men's singles and mixed doubles and one in the women's singles. Women's doubles is the only sector that doesn't send representatives to Japan.

In detail, from the men's singles there are Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. The women's singles are Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo. Finally, the mixed doubles are Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.
