Indonesia U-17 Scheduled To Trial Against India In Bali

Indonesia U-17 is in training in Bali (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team will undergo a trial match in Bali. India will be the opponent on the agenda which will be held twice.

This trial is a series of preparations for the U-17 Indonesian national team ahead of appearing in the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualification in Kuwait, 19-27 October 2024.

In this qualification, Garuda Muda is in Group G with Kuwait, Australia, and the North Mariana Islands.

Meanwhile, the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup finals will take place in Saudi Arabia on April 3-20, 2025. In order to qualify for the final round, the training camp (TC) will be held by Nova Arianto as the head coach.

Currently, Nova and his team are even undergoing the TC agenda in Bali. While on the Island of the Gods, the TC agenda is not just training, but also doing a match test.

The U-17 Indonesian national team will try out the ability to fight India in a two-legged scheme.

"We will have a trial that will be carried out later. The trial plan is on August 25 and 27, 2024."

"We will compete against India in Bali. We hope we will try all the players. We can see which players we will bring TC to Spain," said Nova.

The TC of the U-17 Indonesian national team in Bali will last until the end of August 2024. After that, Garuda Muda will undergo TC in Spain as a final preparation for the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualification.
