Indonesian Volleyball Team Swallows Second Defeat In SEA V League 2024

The Indonesian Women's Volleyball Team lost their second in the 2024 SEA V League (doc. AVC).

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Women's Volleyball national team lost again in the 2024 SEA V League. They lost to Vietnam 3-0 (19-25, 17-25, 19-25) in Vinh Phuc on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi and colleagues find it difficult to stem the best trio of Vietnam's attack line, Tran Tu Linh, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, and Tran Thi Than Thuy from the start.

Entering the third set, Indonesia failed to take advantage of this last opportunity. They again failed to stem the superiority of the host.

Indonesia is even far behind 9-16. The service error plus previous unfinished problems made Vietnam over the wind.

Vietnam finally locked the third set with a 25-19 victory as well as won the second SEA V League game.

The victory brought Vietnam to stick to Thailand, which was ranked first. Meanwhile, Indonesia extended its record of defeat to twice and has not moved from the caretaker.
