Manchester United Opens Talks With Lazio About Greenwood Transfer

JAKARTA - Manchester United opened talks with Lazio about Mason Greenwood's transfer. The Red Devils did want to sell the winger and I Biancoceleste interested.

Manchester United have agreed with a price of 30 million pounds for the 22-year-old. Now, Lazio is still persuading the Red Devils to sign an agreement immediately.

Previously, Lazio had tried to sign Greenwood on loan last season, but failed.

He then joined Getafe as a loan player in September 2023 in an effort to rebuild his career.

Manchester United's new minority shareholder, Sir Jim Ratelege, recently stated that he opened the door for Greenwood's return to Old Trafford.

"We will make decisions, that's right. All I can do is talk about the principle of how we will make decisions like that."

Greenwood seems closer out of Old Trafford than staying even though Manchester United's boss is welcome back. His good performance with Getafe made several big clubs look at him.
