Kevin De Bruyne: No Contract Talks With Manchester City Yet

JAKARTA - Kevin De Bruyne has confirmed that he has not yet resumed contract talks with Manchester City.

De Bruyne, like many Premier League stars - including Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold - will expire his contract at the end of this season.

As a result, De Bruyne will be able to negotiate with other clubs as a free agent on the winter exchange which opens January 1, 2025.

The Belgian National Team player previously acknowledged this possibility to be his last season with The Citizens.

"No. Not yet," Kevin De Bruyne told The Independent.

De Bruyne has been linked with a move to the Saudi Arabian Pro League and MLS club San Diego FC. Starting January 1, 2025, he can enter negotiations with non-English clubs over free transfers.
