Celtics Winning 3-0 In NBA Finals After Beating Mavericks 106-99

JAKARTA - Jayson Tatum scored 31 points and Jaylen Brown added 30 points as the Boston Celtics managed to contain the Dallas Mavericks revival with a 106-99 win on Wednesday night 12 June or Thursday morning WIB, in Game 3 NBA Finals. By leading 3-0 in this series, Boston only needed one more win to win its 18th title in the history of their franchise. Celtics had the opportunity to wipe out Mavericks in Game 4 which will be held in Dallas on Friday, June 14.

Tatum bounced back after scoring only a total of 34 points in Game 1 and 2. Brown also recorded eight rebounds and eight assists for Boston, who also got 16 points from Derrick White. The big Kristaps Porzingis (low-foot injury) did not play after injury in the third quarter of Game 2.

Like Tatum, Kyrie Irving also paid an unsatisfactory performance in the first two games scoring 35 points, the highest in the match. Luka Doncic accounts for 27 points, six rebounds, and six assists, but he dealt a critical blow to Dallas' comeback hopes with a foul out at 4:12 remaining in the match.

Mavericks poses a challenge to the foul on Doncic, but the decision still applies, forcing him out of the game.

It seems the game ended when White fired a three-point shot with 11:07 remaining in the fourth quarter which put the Celtics 91-70 ahead. However, Dallas then bounced back by scoring 28 of the next 37 points to get the score closer to 100-98 after the deck Crash Lively II with 1:20 remaining time.

Brown confirmed Boston never let Mavericks equalize, with his middle-range shot from above the key putting the Celtics four points ahead with 1:01 remaining time. PJ Washington and Irving both failed in a three-point shot at the final seconds before two free throws from White and two from Tatum confirmed the Celtics' win.

Doncic's Layup brings Mavericks closer in the six-point difference, 71-65, with 5:11 remaining in the third quarter. Celtics answered with a series of seven points without reply and then led 85-70 into the fourth quarter.

After Dallas took a 13-point lead in the 12-minute opening, no team took the lead over four points in the second quarter. The first half ended with Mavericks narrowly ahead 51-50 thanks to 20 points from Irving.

In this match, Boston recorded a better shot percentage than Dallas with 46.3 percent compared to 44.2 percent throughout the match.
