Bayern Munich Ranked Three, Thomas Mueller Disappointed

JAKARTA Bundesliga closing match, Bayern Munich silenced Hoffenheim with a score of 2-4, Saturday 18 May. Entering third place, under Bayer Leverkusen and Stuttgart made German striker Thomas Mueller feel very disappointed. For the first time since the 2011 season, Bayern Munich did not win trophies.

"We are very disappointed," Mueller said after Bayern's eighth defeat this season, ANTARA, Sunday, May 19.

"We just want this season to end and start again next season," said the 34-year-old forward.

Bayern Munich last finished third at the end of 2010, under Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen. Two years after that, FC Hollywood bought up 11 Bundesliga champions in a row from the 2012 to 2023 seasons.

However, their progress was stopped this season following Leverkusen's success in winning the German League with an unbeaten status. In contrast to Munich, who has already swallowed eight defeats and three draws in the Bundesliga.

"It's out of our minds to lose a lot of games. We're going to try to forget about it now," Mueller said.

The German striker then asked coach Thomas Tuchel to "set up some mess he didn't produce in a difficult situation."

On the other hand, Tuchel said it "has an explanation" for the issues Bayern is facing, but ensures that the issue "is not to be discussed in public."
