Perbasi Holds The Grand Final Of The KU-17 National Championships For The U-18 SEABA Player Net

Perbasi held the grand final of the U-17 National Championship for the selection of U-18/DOK PERBASI players

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Basketball Association (Perbasi) held a grand final of the National Championship between the men's KU-17 clubs to attract players for the U-18 national team.

This National Championship will take place at the Bogor IPB Vocational GOR starting from 15 to 20 April 2024. A total of nine teams took part in this grand final.

They are Victoria Jakarta, Aras Jakarta, Aras Banten, GMC Cirebon,tarian Yogyakarta, Sahabat Semarang, CLS Surabaya, WBS Surabaya, and Merpati Bali.

The Chief Executive of the National Championship Grand Final between KU-17 club Putra Ferri Jufry said the participants were divided into three groups. They will compete to win rank 1, 2, and 3 as well.

The grand finals will be divided into 3 pools, each consisting of 3 teams. Rank 1 each pool will enter 1 pool to determine the rankings 1,2 and 3,' explained Ferri.

Later, the second place from each pool will meet again in 1 pool to determine the rankings 4, 5, 6 as well as rank 3 will be included in one Pool to determine the rankings 7, 8 and 9.

Ferri explained that the nine teams that qualified for the grand final of the National Championship between the KU-17 clubs had previously struggled from below. They brought the big names of each team to compete for Grand Final tickets from the regional acquisition called National Championship Qualification.

The National Championship Qualification is divided into 5 regions. Each rank 1 and 2 each region passes to the Grand Final round," he explained.

This series of matches must be passed by all teams to get the title of the best club in KU-17. Perbasi will deploy a scout to monitor every game.

The National Championship Grand Final between KU-17 clubs is one of the selection events to form the Men's Basketball National Team to participate in the U-18 SEABA championship.

SEABA KU-18 will take place from 19-21 July 2024 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. In this event, 4 teams including Indonesia will be enlivened. The other three countries that took part are Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
