Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Leads Thunder Oklahoma City Wins 127-89 Over Spurs

JAKARTA -mainstay Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 26 points to lead Oklahoma City Thunder as the hosts crushed San Antonio Spurs with a score of 127-89 on Thursday 11 April morning.

Oklahoma City (55-25) has won three games in a row and is in second place in the West Conference standings with two games remaining.

Spurs (20-60) lost four of their last six matches. San Antonio has lost at least 60 games just for the fourth time in NBA history and the second season in a row.

Spurs played without rookie star Victor Wembanyama due to an ankle injury. Without Wembanyama, San Antonio quickly fell into a big hole. Thunder scored the first 11 points in the match when Spurs missed their first seven shots.

All 11 Spurs points in the first quarter came in less than three minutes. After the streak, Oklahoma City ended the first quarter with 19-0 to take control of the game.

Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddy match Spurs' points in the first quarter, respectively. Giddy scored 20 points with 7 from 12 shots, 12 rebounds, and seven assists.

Outside of Zach Collins, who scored nine of Spurs' 11 points in the first quarter, San Antonio was only 1 in 18 from the pitch.

Thunder's lead jumped to 36 points in the first half, and during half-time,wail Holmgren starred. The rookie scored nine points and six rebounds in the first half before Oklahoma City coach Mark Daigneault withdrew for a break in a back-to-back series.

Collins led Spurs, who fired their lowest shot this season at 33.3 percent from the pitch, with 20 points.

Gordon Hayward, who has missed the last two games due to a foot injury, has scored his highest points since swapping for Oklahoma City. Hayward scored 18 points with 6 out of 8 shots.

Thunder this time performed without Luguentz Dort, who missed the second back-to-back series due to rest.
