JAKARTA - Thomas Tuchel is increasingly under pressure at Bayern Munich, with Bayern risking a season without the first trophy since 2011/12, following three consecutive defeats.

Sky Germany reports Man Utd's former manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is an option if Tuchel is sacked, although Bayern is still trying to keep Tuchel from giving him a chance to improve things.

Solskjaer won 91 of the 168 matches he led at Man Utd, having previously succeeded in Molde and Cardiff City.

Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund knows Solskjaer well and is said to have 'followed in Norway's footsteps over the years'.

There is also interest in the French legend, Zinedine Zidane, who won the Champions League three times as Real Madrid coach.

The defeat to Bayer Leverkusen and Bochum in the Bundesliga left Bayern eight points behind the current champions, while they had to reverse their first leg defeat in the last 16 with Lazio after a 1-0 loss.

Leverkusen is currently trained by Xabi Alonso, also known as a potential target for Bayern. However, they are likely to face competition from Liverpool to recruit Alonso, who has been dubbed by Klopp as the best talent of the next generation of managers.
