Badminton Asia Team Championship 2024 Schedule, Starting February 13

JAKARTA - Badminton Asia Team Championships (BATC) 2024 will soon roll on February 13-18 at Shah Alam, Malaysia. Indonesia is one of the representatives who will appear and compete for the title. After passing a busy schedule in January, badminton teams in Asia immediately prepared to shift their focus to BATC 2024. This is because three days from the start or until Thursday, February 15, a group stage for the men's team and the women's team will be held. At the BATC 2024 event, the Indonesian men's team will join Group D with South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, the women's team is in Group X with Hong Kong and Kazakhstan. After passing the preliminary round in the first three days, the competition will enter the quarter-finals which will be held on Friday, February 16. The new finals will take place on Sunday, February 18th. To fight for the title in the 2024 BATC competition, the Indonesian team fielded 20 athletes who will fill the men's team and women's teams numbers.

For the women's team, this moment could be an opportunity to extend the title of defense, because in the previous edition they won the title. Meanwhile, the men's team, which previously had runner-up status, could make this year's moment to perform better.
