Snapchat Launches New Monetization Program For Spotlight Creators Starting February 2025

JAKARTA - Snapchat launched a new Monetization Program that allows creators to monetize their more than 1 minute Spotlight video content, starting February 1, 2025.

This program was launched because Snapchat saw an increase in the number of Spotlight viewers by 25 percent year-on-year. So, the company wants to provide a new monetization way for creators.

Over the past year, the number of creators posting to the public has more than tripled, and our community likes their content, Snap wrote on its blog.

As part of this new program, creators who can monetize with Spotlight content should at least meet the following criteria:

Snapchat has also recorded a three-fold increase in the number of creators posting publicly in the past year, thanks to program support like Snap Star Collab Studio.
