Rashford Is Not PSG's Target To Replace Mbappe, But Osimhen

JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain is looking for players who are expected to replace Kylian Mbappe. Rumors circulated that PSG was eyeing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. However, PSG denied that they were eyeing Victor Osimhen.

PSG did want to recruit Rashford last season. However, MU did not want to release the star and then tied him up with a long five-year contract.

Now, the PSG issue is monitoring the Rashford situation at MU. The reason is, MU is reported to have offered this 26-year-old player to PSG.

You see, Rashford was in the spotlight after being caught clubbing during a training absence on the grounds of illness ahead of the FA Cup match. The action of this England national team player irritated other players.

Meanwhile, PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has indeed expressed interest in recruiting Rashford.

He also called Rashford an extraordinary player when he performed with England at the 2022 World Cup Qatar.

However, the club president intends to bring this Jamaican player if he is free of transfer.

Now, the situation is different. If you want to buy Rashford, MU can set a high price. That is PSG's consideration not to bring in Rashford.

As a result, PSG targeted Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen. Napoli are ready to let him go even though they have just extended the contract for the Nigerian national team player.

However, PSG will compete with Premier League clubs. Chelsea, especially, wants to recruit Osimhen to sharpen front line bangs.
