Xavi Hernandez Leaves Barcelona At The End Of The Season

JAKARTA - The failure in the Copa del Rey put Barcelona in danger of being held this season. Manager Xavi Hernandez said he was ready to leave Barca at the end of this season.

Xavi is indeed unfortunate. Barca's successive failure puts itself under pressure. How not, Barca lost the title in the Spanish Super Cup. In the final match titled el clasico, Barca were beaten by Real Madrid 1-4.

This continued when the Blaugrana competed in the Copa del Rey. In a duel against Athletic Bilbao in the quarter-finals, Barca were forced to surrender 2-4.

Although he still hopes that in the Champions League and Spanish La Liga, Barca is expected to find it difficult to compete. Xavi also realized that he would be dismissed when the competition season ended.

"If we fail, I will leave," Xavi said after the defeat in the Copa del Rey.

"In fact, not only me, but all the coaches will leave. This is Barca. Barca is a big club. At Barca what is being discussed is victory," he said.

Xavi further said, "I know what is being asked if we want to survive. We have to win trophies or at least be able to compete with our competitors."

Despite his threatened position, the former Barca midfielder remains optimistic that the team can still achieve achievements in domestic and Champions League competitions.
