JAKARTA McLaren officially became the first team to announce their new car color pattern to welcome the 2024 Formula 1 (F1) competition.
The Woking, London-based team maintains the orange color of their characteristics, which has been the main pattern since 2018.
The color is combined with black and a touch of chrom to create a striking pattern. However, McLaren decided not to use the blue color in their latest livery anymore.
"We are delighted to launch the form of Formula 1 2024 ahead of the new season. The design looks amazing. I can't wait to join the race and see this car on the track next month," said McLaren CEO Zak Brown, quoted by Crash.
The car will be officially introduced to the public on February 14, 2024 at Silverstone or one week before pre-season trials in Bahrain.

Last season or F1 2023, McLaren finished fourth in the constructors' championship despite starting a bad start to the season. The team only got an upgrade in the car at the Austrian Grand Prix.
"We didn't start 2023 the way we wanted. However, Andrea Stella (Head of McLaren Team) and the team did a good job after the organizational restructuring was implemented. Hard work continued as we brought that extraordinary momentum to the 2024 season," said Zak.
McLaren will navigate F1 2024 with two of their riders, namely Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. The pair will use a new car during the pre-season trial session which will last for three days, 21-23 February 2024, in Bahrain.
The first Formula 1 2024 race will open in Bahrain from February 29 to March 2, 2024.
