Persik Breaks Persib's Unbeaten Record At Home

BANDUNG - Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium (GBLA) witnessed a big surprise when Persik Kediri managed to beat the host Persib Bandung with a score of 0-2 in the continuation of the 2023/2024 Liga 1 competition, Sunday night, December 10.

Two winning goals for the White Tigers were scored by Renan Silva in the 49th minute and Anderson in the 59th minute. This result led Persik to move up to sixth in the standings with 33 points, while Persib Bandung had to drop to third with 39 points. Both teams have played 22 games.

The match started with Persik Kediri pressing from the early minutes, getting various attacks on Persib Bandung players. Although many opportunities were created in the first half, the score remained 0-0 until the final whistle of the first half.

In the second half, Persik Kediri dominated the match and opened the scoring through the penalty prize for Renan Silva in the 49th minute. Anderson added the advantage with a free kick in the 59th minute, making the score 0-2.
