Jonathan Ambitious To Hold A Title At The Japan Masters 2023

JAKARTA The men's singles badminton player Jonatan Christie has ambitions to bring home the title when he performs at the Japan Masters 2023 this week.

The Super 500 BWF event will be held from November 14 to 19 at the Kumamoto Prefectural Gymnasium, Japan. The 26-year-old athlete is one of four single men's representatives who are ready to appear.

"For me, this tournament is indeed to pursue a championship title and increase the ranking of points. As long as I can enjoy the match, hopefully the result will also be positive," he said.

The 2018 Asian Games gold medalist came to this tournament after lifting his title at the French Open, his last tournament, late last month.

"Preparations after coming from the French Open, may only be effective for about a week. Even so, I have to be ready to face this tournament," said Jonathan according to information received by VOI.

Apart from Jonathan, the other three men who appeared were Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo, and Shesar Hiren Rhustavito who will fight from the qualifications.

In the women's doubles, Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi will be the mainstay. This number does not exist with Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti who is definitely absent because Apri is still undergoing treatment after a right calf injury at the Hylo Open.

"Every time I appear to the championship, I am always enthusiastic. At this Japan Masters I want to perform optimally for achievement and also add to my world ranking points," said Ana, Febriana's nickname.

In the double mixture, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari and Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati are displayed.
