Gresini Owner Proudly Marquez Joins His Team, But There Is One Regrettable Thing

JAKARTA - Racer from Spain, Marc Marquez has officially collaborated with Gresini Racing in MotoGP 2024. This moment is something to be proud of for the Italian manufacturer.

The family of the owner of Gresini, Nadia Padovani, said that Marquez's joining was a historic moment for the Gresini family. He is pleased that one of the best riders chooses to join Gresini next season.

"In less than a season, we became very close to his brother (Alex Marquez) and we will welcome Marc in the same way," said Nadia Padovani about Marquez's joining.

But behind the pride of being able to attract the world's seasoned racer, Padovani revealed that there was one small regret. That's because Marquez came to Gresini while he was in a bad period of his career.

Even so, Padovi believes the 30-year-old racer will return to glory.

There is one feeling uncomfortable, that's a little. Because this period is not good for his career. But we believe he has the potential to be competitive at GP23 from the start," said Padovani.

In Gresini Racing, Marquez will join his younger brother, Alex Marquez. According to the rider, this actually made him excited because he would face new challenges.

"I'm excited that this (moving to Gresini) is also a new challenge," said Marquez.

Even though they finally chose Gresini as their new port, the six-time MotoGP world champion with Repsol Honda admitted that the decision taken was not easy.

Because Marquez realizes that there will be major changes that must be passed in the new team. However, Marquez is ready to face it and get out of the comfort zone for better developments.

Marquez said he had to adjust his new motorcycle style in Gresini. According to him, this will not be easy. But he believes everyone in Gresini will help him.

"I can't wait to get to know the team and start working with them. I want to thank Nadia, Carlo, and Michele for the trust and respect they showed me," said the Spaniard.
