Rumors Of Santer, Antonio Conte Becomes Napoli Coach Replace Rudi Garcia

JAKARTA - Napoli's bad start in the new 2023/2024 competition has put coach Rudi Garcia at risk of losing his post. Garcia is said to be replaced by Antonio Conte, who has been unemployed since being dismissed by Tottenham Hotspur, last March.

Napoli president and owner Aurelio De Rukis can't wait for Garcia's performance. Of the 10 matches in the Italian Serie A and Champions League, Napoli's achievements were not convincing. The team only won five times, two draws have lost three times.

In the domestic competition, Napoli, who have played eight times, won four times, drew twice and lost. As a result, The Partenopei was ranked fifth.

Only De Rukis was dissatisfied with Garcia's performance which led to rumors that Conte would replace him. The news became even more widespread after Conte did not deny that De Badminton planned a meeting with him.

This was revealed when Conte attended the 100th anniversary of Agnelli's family, owner of Juventus. Conte himself is one of the legends and coaches of the Bianconeri.

At the party, Conte met with veteran reporter Fabrizio Romano and several others. To Romano, the former Chelsea coach did not deny or confirm that he would meet De Badminton.

Meanwhile, the former Napoli Kalidou Koulibaly hopes that De Badminton will remain patient with Garcia. According to him, Garcia still needs time to adapt.

"Garcia is a big coach and she needs time to adjust like the previous coach," Koulibaly was quoted as saying by Football Italia.

"Players support him. I spoke with two or three of them. Everyone said they support Garcia. They also remain focused on working and everything will go better. I hope the club can be patient with him," said the former Chelsea defender.

However, if Conte was replaced, he considered him the best coach. The defender who is now playing at Al Expert admits that he is no stranger to Conte.

"Conte is a big coach. I know him very well. He always looks for me when he handles the club. I respect him. But I also respect Garcia," Conte said.
