Last Day Of The 2023 Asian Games: No Indonesian Athletes Appear, Kans Adds No Medal

JAKARTA - The 2023 Asian Games entered their final day on Sunday, October 8, but the Indonesian contingent opportunity added zero medals. This is because no athletes competed today.

The 2023 Asian Games closed featuring swimming and karate on their final day. Unfortunately, in the two sports, no Indonesian athletes contributed.

Swimming, which will compete in free routine numbers, will be followed by eight teams from Thailand, Macau, Singapore, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, and North Korea.

Meanwhile, karate will complete two numbers, namely the men's team and the 50 kilogram women's committee. Where there is also no participation of Indonesian athletes on the agenda.

The Indonesian contingent athlete last appeared on Saturday, October 7, represented by Aflah Fadlan Prawira in the swimming sport, lifter Nurul Akmal in the weightlifting, archer Ratih Zilizati Fadhly, karateka Sandi Firmansah and Cok, Agung Sanistyani's wife.

On the one day before the closing, none of the medals were won by Indonesian representatives. The last time the Red and White team won a medal occurred on Friday, October 6, namely the gold and silver medals from the dragon boat sport, as well as the bronze from the men's team archery team, the recurve number.

Until the last day of the 2023 Asian Games, the Indonesian contingent has won 36 medals. The medals consisted of 7 gold, 11 silver, and 18 bronze medals.
