GIANYAR - Bali United will face Terengganu FC (Malaysia) in the second match of Group G of the 2023/2024 AFC Cup, Wednesday, October 4. Both teams will clash at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali.

Both teams came together to win in the first match. Bali United appeared strong when they traveled to the headquarters of Stallion Laguna FC (Philippine) with a 5-2 victory.

Meanwhile, Terengganu defeated the Australian club, CC Mariners with a score of 1-0 at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium, Malaysia.

Even though they both have three points, Bali United is currently in first place in Group G standings with more goals than Terengganu who is in second place. This is considered by Bali United coach Stefano Cugurra

"So for us this is a good momentum to fight Terengganu. He also started the AFC Cup by winning the match against other teams but we are above them with three points," said the man who is familiarly called Teco, as reported by Antara.

He revealed that his team started preparations for this match with the recovery of post-match players in domestic competitions. After that, the players are equipped with tactics that are believed to improve the quality of the team.

However, the Brazilian coach did not reveal his team's special preparations. Including tactics that are boosted through training at the Bali United Training Center at Purnama Beach, Gianyar Regency.

Meanwhile, Bali United player Eber Bessa admitted to making training preparations like regular matches.
