Lee Hi's concert in Jakarta canceled, promoter promises full refund

JAKARTA - Unpleasant news is approaching K-pop and R&B music fans in the country. The solo concert from South Korea, Lee Hi, titled "LEEHI ONLY - 808HI RECORDINGS WORLD TOUR 2026" in Jakarta is confirmed to be canceled.

The show, which was originally scheduled to take place at the Bengkel Hall, South Jakarta, on August 9, was canceled due to unforeseen obstacles in the Asian region tour series.

The promoter, The Great Indonesia Experiment (TG!X), made an official announcement regarding the cancellation of the performance of the singer whose real name is Lee Ha-yi. In the official statement, the promoter revealed that this decision was made after receiving direct confirmation from the management of the singer's tour.

"We have received official confirmation from our international tour partners that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the tour series in the Asian region (including Jakarta) cannot continue," said Eddie Noor as Founder and CEO of The Great Indonesia Experiment, in a written statement uploaded on Instagram.

The promoter expressed his deepest apologies to all fans who have been waiting for Lee Hi's appearance on the Jakarta stage. His party is aware of the great inconvenience and disappointment experienced by ticket holders and partners who have supported the preparation of this event.

"We apologize profusely to all fans, ticket holders, partners, and all parties who have supported this event. We understand how disappointing this news is and we are very sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment it has caused," he said.

Responding to the certainty of the cancellation, the promoter emphasized its full commitment to provide a full refund to all legitimate ticket buyers.

Currently, TG!X is coordinating intensively with the official ticket sales platform, Rowone, to complete the mechanism and timeline for refunds for prospective spectators.

"Our top priority right now is to ensure that all affected ticket holders receive a refund as soon as possible. We are working closely with Rowone to expedite this process and will share the procedures and refund timelines that have been confirmed once available," the promoter said.
