Marciano Norman Appreciates Shooting At Hangzhou Asian Games Successfully Exceeding The 2018 Asian Games Achievements

JAKARTA - The Indonesian contingent again won its fourth and sixth bronze medal from the total number of medals won by Indonesia at the 2023 Asian Games. Chairman of the Central KONI Marciano Norman expressed his appreciation for this achievement.

The bronze medal was presented from the shooting sport in the Men's Team 10m Running Target event, which was strengthened by Muhammad Badri Akbar Irfandi Julio, and Muhammad Sejahtera Dwi Putra. They compete at the Fuyang Yunhu Sports Center, Monday, September 25, 2023.

The Indonesian shooting team managed to occupy the 3rd podium with a score of 1667-33, beating the Vietnamese team by a narrow margin of 1667-28. Winning this bronze medal in the team event added to the success of the shooting sport, which in the previous competition won a gold medal thanks to Muhammad Sejahtera Dwi Putra's performance in the Men's 10M Running Target Number.

The shooting team's record of one gold and one bronze has exceeded the achievement at the 2018 Asian Games. At that time shooting only got one silver which was also presented by Sejahtera.
