JAKARTA The Indonesian national team is scheduled to compete against Turkmenistan on FIFA Matchday at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Friday, September 8. Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong confirmed the possibility that his squad could not be strengthened by four players.

Four names that may be absent are Dimas Drajad, Yakob Sayuri, Yance Sayuri, and Shayne Pattynama. They are in a state that is not fit due to injury while defending the club.

"Shayne, Yacob, Yance, and Dimas are injured in the league. So, most likely missed the match on September 8," said Shin Tae-yong in a statement on the PSSI website.

To anticipate the possibility of the absence of the four names, this Korean tactician has also summoned several other names from the U-23 Indonesian national team.

The three names in question are Alfeandra Dewangga, Donny Tri Pamungkas, and Dzaky Asraf. They will follow from Solo to Surabaya.

"There is no new face, we only have one match against Turkmenistan, so we will call from the U-23 team, namely Dewangga, Donny, and Dzaky," said Shin.

Garuda troops are currently in Surabaya and have held their first exercise at Thor Field, Surabaya, Monday, September 4. The exercise is only for recovery.

"Because today's training is just recovery, you can't really know the condition of the players. But if tomorrow you start training normally, so maybe tomorrow you can find out the condition of the players," said Shin.
