5 International Racing Championships Will Be Held In Indonesia, Here's The List

JAKARTA - Indonesia will host a number of international car and motorcycle racing events in 2023. Preparations are continuing to make it run well.

The international car racing championships that will be held in Indonesia include the FIA ​​Formula E 2023 in two rounds on 3 and 4 June 2023 at the Jakarta International ePrix Circuit (JIEC) Ancol, Jakarta.

Then there is also the Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) 2023 which will also be held in two rounds on 22-23 September 2023 and 24-26 November 2023 in the Lake Toba area, North Sumatra.

As for international motor racing championships, including World Superbike (WSBK) on 3-5 March 2023 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

Then the Motocross World Championship (MXGP) for two rounds on 25 June 2023 at the Samota Rocket Motor Circuit, Sumbawa, NTB, and 2 July 2023 in Lombok, NTB.

Another big motor racing event is MotoGP 2023 from 13-15 October 2023 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit in Lombok, NTB.

Chairman of the Central Indonesian Motor Association (IMI), Bambang Soesatyo, stated that his party was ready to facilitate the eight rounds of the international championship.

"There are many IMI agendas in 2023. National and international championships are also ready to be held," said the man who is familiarly called Bamsoet, as reported by Antara, Saturday, 18 February.

Apart from international championships, IMI is also preparing to hold several national events. These events include the drag race, rally, offroad, motoprix, drag bike, motocross, and several other sports.

In addition, there is also a national level championship, namely the Indonesia Motoprix Championship (IMC) - Oneprix in five rounds.
