JAKARTA – The Indonesian badminton team will continue their struggle in Group C of the 2023 Asia Mixed Team Badminton Championships against Bahrain today, Wednesday, 15 February. The following is the schedule and live streaming link for the matches of the two teams.

Indonesia has had two matches on Tuesday against Lebanon and Syria. Fajar Alfian and his friends won with the same score of 5-0 in the two matches that took place at the Dubai Exhibition Center, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Thanks to this victory, Indonesia is still at the top of the group standings with a collection of four points. Thailand followed in second place with two points, followed by Bahrain in third place with a collection of two points as well.

In yesterday's match, the Garuda squad came down with a different line-up in each game. Indonesia first beat Lebanon before rotating to win over Syria.

"We rotated the team composition against Syria so that all players can compete. This is so that everyone can feel the atmosphere of the match," said the Head of the Development and Achievement Division of PP PBSI Rionny Mainaky.

Meanwhile, for the match against Bahrain today, Indonesia will save several reliable representatives. Including Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, and Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

In the men's doubles, Indonesia will field Pramudya Kusumawardana / Yeremia Rambitan. Meanwhile, the trusted men's singles were given to Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo, the women's singles were entrusted to Princess Kusuma Wardani.

As for the other two numbers from women's doubles and mixed doubles, Indonesia will play Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto and Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari.

This means changes are made only to the women's singles from yesterday's last game against Syria. In that match, Merah Putih played Gregoria Mariska Tunjung who was given a rest today.
