Glad Galtier brought PSG twice to humiliate Juventus

JAKARTA - The coach of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Christophe Galtier is happy that his team was able to beat Juventus. Not once, PSG managed to embarrass the Italian Serie A giants in two meetings in Group H of the Champions League.

Most recently, in the final match of Group H on Thursday, November 3, Les Parisiens again won with a score of 2-1 over the Bianconeri. The two goals at the Allianz Stadium were made by Kylian Mbappe and Nuno Mendes.

"We have beaten Juventus twice and this makes us very happy, I smiled until the 92nd minute", said Galtier, quoted from the official UEFA website on Thursday, November 3.

Unfortunately, the victory over Juventus did not make PSG qualify as group winners. They stepped into the last 16 of the Champions League with a runner-up position on goal difference over Benfica who sit at the top of the group standings.

Despite being runner-up, Galtier remains confident that he can achieve maximum results in the Champions League this season. He will prepare the team while waiting for the results of the draw.

“If you want to go far in this competition, you have to beat the big teams. Let's wait for the draw and see who we get in the last 16", continued the coach.

In the draw phase later, PSG has the potential to meet the group-winning teams, including Real Madrid and Manchester City. As for Juventus, this failure made them thrown into the Europa League.
