JAKARTA - Saul Canelo Alvarez has just established himself as the best in world super middleweight boxing. He won the trilogy duel against Gennady Golovkin which took place on Sunday, September 18.

Many are wondering what Canelo's next plans are. Who will be the opponent of the four-division title belt holder?

Canelo only had one name on his mind after finishing his fight with Golovkin.

He wanted to get his revenge on Dimitry Bivol. Before the trilogy match against Golovkin, Canelo had to admit Bivol's advantage in May 2022.

However, he had to wait for that opportunity. Because Bivol will defend the WBA light heavyweight title against Gilberto Ramirez, on November 5.

However, Canelo insists a rematch with the Russian is a priority for him at this time.

"Of course, everyone knows. We'll see, we'll see what happens in that fight," Canelo said, as quoted by The Sun.

The four-division champion is gaining weight after winning the undisputed super-middleweight crown in November 2021.

But he seems ready to put on some weight to avenge the loss against Bivol.

"This is very important for my legacy, for me, for my pride, for my country, for my family, for everyone," said Canelo.

"This is very important and I will beat him," he continued again.
