Cristiano Ronaldo's Journey Towards Manchester United's Door: Starting From Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund Until Now Napoli

JAKARTA - Manchester United player, Cristiano Ronaldo, is still trying to get out of Old Trafford. The desire to play in the Champions League is still passionate.

The agent, Jorge Mendes, was tasked with finding a club that could realize his ambition. It was a tough task that frustrated Cristiano Ronaldo.

The reason is, that Mendes has offered the services of Cristiano Ronaldo to several participating clubs in the 2022/2023 Champions League. However, almost everything resulted in refusal.

Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid are compact and are not interested in recruiting the former Juventus player. The reason is that the age is no longer young, which is 37 years.

Ronaldo also reportedly communicated with his old club, Sporting Lisbon. However, the communication did not seem to continue seriously.

Borussia Dortmund is among the clubs offered. However, the German club considered that he did not need the figure of Ronaldo.

Then there was Olympique Marseille. This French club is like no other, which immediately gave a refusal.

Marseille is reportedly still counting its gains in bringing in the Portuguese player. They wanted to follow in the footsteps of Paris Saint-Germain who brought in Lionel Messi at a young age.

Most recently, Mendes "peddle" his client to Napoli. This was revealed from the news in Italian media Tuttosport.

Reportedly, there have been talks between Mendes and Napoli management. It was also mentioned that Mendes also helped Napoli find a new club for Victor Osimhen to launch Ronaldo's move to San Paolo.

Interestingly, Osimhen was offered to Manchester United. However, the process is not a rollout exchange but involves fresh funds.

There has been no official confirmation from either side. However, the transfer expert in Italy, Gianluca Di Marzio, confirmed the issue.
