PSG Training Like El Clasico: Tense, After Ramos Tackles Messi

JAKARTA - When Lionel Messi signed for Paris Saint-Germain last summer, there was one question on everyone's mind: can he forget his past with Sergio Ramos?

It is common knowledge that these two players have a fierce rivalry when playing for Barcelona and Real Madrid. Every time they stepped onto the field to face each other, it was always fierce.

When Messi joined PSG, Ramos made the first move via social media to lighten the mood between them. He uploaded a photo of their PSG jersey side by side on the club's official store.

"Who would have thought," Ramos wrote in the photo caption.

Despite having a rather complicated past, in the two's first season in Paris, they seemed to have a good relationship. However, in PSG's latest training session, the two almost once again clashed.

It started with Ramos' signature tough tackle on the striker, who was clearly annoyed by it.

Messi then looked at Ramos in annoyance and mumbled something in Spanish: "Relax".

Ramos then tried to defuse the situation, but Messi didn't retaliate and left annoyed. The whole situation was reminiscent of an El Clásico match where the two almost went head-to-head.

It remains one of the most iconic moments in football history.
