This was conveyed by Sahroni at the Meet and Greet event with Formula E drivers in Jakarta on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
He believes the plan will definitely be approved by all the riders. "Next year we hope there will be a night race. Drivers will always agree," he said.
E-Prix Jakarta will make its debut as the organizer of the ninth race series on Saturday this weekend. A total of 22 racers will compete at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) in Ancol.
Sahroni felt proud to be able to hold this grand event after going through various challenges. Moreover, this is the first electric car race in Indonesia.
"This is a race that invites us to know more about future technology. This is a form that we like it or not is part of electric modernization in the future," he said.
Previously, the committee admitted that the tickets for this electric-powered land jet racing event had already been sold out. A total of 22 tickets in the circuit provided by the organizers have all been purchased.
Currently, the only remaining tickets for the Ancol Festival category are IDR 250 thousand. That includes an entrance ticket to the Ancol area to enjoy racing through several giant screens that are available at several points.
