JAKARTA - PB Djarum has made sure not to send Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti to the Thailand Open 2022. This was conveyed by PB Djarum's mixed doubles coach, Vita Marissa.

Vita said Praveen/Melati were not sent to Thailand to finalize preparations for the Indonesia Open 2022.

The Thailand Open is scheduled to be held on May 17-22. Meanwhile, the Indonesia Open will be held in Jakarta on June 14-19.

"Praveen/Melati are focused on the Indonesia Open, so that the preparation is thorough and the results can be maximized," said Vita, as reported by Antara.

Last year, Praveen/Melati's performance in Thailand was disappointing. With superior status, they lost in the first round to representatives of France through a three-game battle with a score of 21-14, 9-21, and 13-21.

PB Djarum itself will continue to send representatives at the Thailand Open 2022. Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja have been confirmed to participate.

Meanwhile, the pair Akbar Bintang Chayono/Marsheilla Gischa Islami are on the waiting list.

"Dejan/Glo are still competing. Meanwhile, Akbar/Gischa are still waiting," said Vita.
