Saying That Enea Bastianini Is Unbeatable In The 2022 American MotoGP, Francesco Bagnaia: Only He Can Fight With Marc Marquez

JAKARTA - Lenovo's Ducati racer, Francesco Bagnaia, said that Enea Bastianini was indeed unbeaten in the Argentine MotoGP race, last weekend. However, there is one racer who according to Bagnaia can compete with the Gresini Racing racer.

That rider is Marc Marquez. Unfortunately, the Repsol Honda champion had problems at the start which forced him to sag to the very back position.

"If Marc had no problems after the start, for sure he would be in front too," Bagnaia said after the race, as quoted by GPOne, Monday, April 11.

"Enea is unbeaten. If Marquez doesn't have problems at the start, he will be in front and I think Bastianini is the only person who can compete with him," continued Bagnaia.

Bastianini and Marquez did show an extraordinary performance. Marquez, who had slipped to the back position, managed to finish sixth. While Bastianini, who started from fifth position, managed to dominate the race.

Bagnaia himself finished fifth in the race at the Austin Circuit. The Italian rider admitted that he had done his best in this race.

He had tried to achieve better results, but his efforts made him suffer. Bagnaia said this was the minimum target he had achieved.

"We just have to keep working. When I started trying to push myself, I realized the riders were faster than me," said Bagnaia.

Now he wants to focus on continuing his already better performance. He knew there would come a time when he was even faster.

"In Portimao, we will see where we stand," said Francesco Bagnaia.
