Indonesian U-19 National Team Bend Pohang 2-0, So The Second Win Of 6 Trials

JAKARTA – The Indonesian U-19 national team won 2-0 over Pohang Steelers. This is the second victory for Shin Tae-yong's squad since undergoing training camp in South Korea.

The U-19 Indonesian national team met Pohan in a trial that took place at the Riverside Soccer Field, South Korea, on Wednesday, April 6. The match is divided into three games with a duration of 40 minutes per game.

Indonesia got a balanced resistance in the first game. The result is a score of 0-0 glasses ending the game.

Indonesia was then only able to break into the opponent's goal in the next two games. Two of the Garuda squad's winning goals were contributed by Ronaldo Kwateh in the second game and Rezza in the third game.

This is the sixth test match played by Ronaldo and his friends as well as their second win. Their first win came when they met Daegu University with the final result 2-1.

Meanwhile, in their other four matches, Shin's squad recorded three defeats and one draw. The defeats they each got from Yeungnam University (1-5) and South Korea U-19 (1-5 and 0-7).

The only draw they got was on Tuesday, April 5 yesterday, when they met with Gimcheon. In that match, the Red and White troops ended the match with an equally strong score of 2-2.

Furthermore, the U-19 Indonesian national team will meet Daegu U-18 on Thursday, April 7 tomorrow. After that, they are scheduled to face Pohang on April 9 and Daegu again on April 13.
