JAKARTA - Barcelona legend Sergio Busquets prefers football to sex. An old quote has resurfaced showing the midfielder prefers a thrilling climax on the pitch than in bed.

"In football, happiness lasts three out of four days. In contrast, sex lasts only one minute", Busquets explained to the Spanish TV show El Hormiguero seven years ago as quoted by the Daily Star, Wednesday, April 6.

"After a bad game, you just come home, close the door and you don't want to go out for three or four days.

"Fans don't insult you after a bad day, but many of them remind you that it wasn't the best for you."

Busquets made the comments a year after he reportedly started dating 31-year-old Spanish beauty Elena Galera.

This unmarried couple has two children. Elena is an Instagram user and regularly posts glamorous photos from her life to her 636,000 followers.

Elena loves to pose in various dresses including bikinis while sharing the latest news about her relationship with 2010 World Cup winner Busquets.
