PSM Makassar Failed To Stay Out Of The Relegation Zone After Losing To Persija Jakarta, Joop Gall: I'm Not A Magician

DENPASAR - PSM Makassar lost 1-3 to Persija Jakarta in the continuation of the Indonesian League 1, Monday, March 21. This defeat made PSM failed to stay away from the relegation zone.

Currently, the team nicknamed Juku Eja is in 13th position with 35 points. Now they are only five points adrift of Persipura Jayapura who occupies the 16th position, the red limit of the relegation zone.

PSM coach, Joop Gall said, he is not a magician who can instantly make his team look extraordinary. He added, everything depends on the PSM itself.

Joop Gall started managing PSM in the second round of Liga 1 this season. In 15 matches that PSM has played, Gall led his team to win three times, draw six and lose six times.

"I'm not a magician who says something then it can happen," said Gall, as reported by Antara.

He emphasized that the only way to escape relegation was to prepare well. In addition, PSM is required to reap two points considering that there are two matches left in Liga 1 this season.

With the addition of two points, PSM certainly cannot be caught by a team that is now in the relegation zone.

"Right now everything depends on our preparations. Our fate is in our own hands. We will work hard and let's see the results," he said.

In the final two matches of the Indonesian League 1, PSM will meet Persiraja Banda Aceh and Madura United.
