JAKARTA - The Governor of West Java, M Ridwan Kamil, gave tickets to watch the MotoGP at the Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara to former Indonesian motorcycle racer from West Java, Tjetjep Heriyana.

The ticket is a form of appreciation for Ridwan Kamil to Tjetjep, who is a former national motorcycle racer from West Java.

Tjetjep was very happy and enthusiastic to witness the 'iron horse' event in Mandalika live. He also thanked Kang Emil, Ridwan Kamil's greeting.

"I am very happy because so far I have only been able to see MotoGP on TV," said Tjetjep as quoted by Antara, Thursday, March 17.

Thursday morning Tetjep Heriyana underwent a medical examination in Cimahi City.

The examination was carried out before he left for Lombok to watch the Mandalika MotoGP Circuit with his children and grandchildren.

The doctor who checked Tjetjep's health, Ayi Abdul Basith, said that Tjetjep's health condition was good.

"From the pulse and normal oxygen saturation. The condition of the body, the lungs, and abdomen, all are within normal limits and there are no complaints," said Ayi.

After undergoing a health check, Tjetjep with his children and grandchildren got ready to leave for Lombok.

Tjetjep kept smiling while getting ready.

According to him, he can't wait to watch MotoGP live and listen to the roar of the iron horse engine.

"I continue to follow (the development of) MotoGP. If there is a race, I just watch it on TV. Now I will watch it live, the gerung-gerung (the sound of the motorbike) will definitely be different," said Tjetjep.

Tjetjep with his children and grandchildren departed from the Cimahi area for Jakarta on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Then, he will continue his journey to Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, to watch the race he has been waiting for and wanting.
