Whoops! League 3 Is In Chaos Again, Maluku FC Players Chase And Beat The Referee Until They Have To Be Rescued By The Police

JAKARTA - The match between Persedikab Kediri and Maluku FC in the round of 32 of 2021/22 National League 3 ended in chaos at the Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri, East Java, Thursday.

According to Antara, the chaos started with the disappointment of the players and officials from Maluku FC at the decision of referee Hafidz Nuridho, because the match continued to be played even though it had passed four minutes of extra time.

Their disappointment was exacerbated because Persedikab managed to score their third goal after extra time entering the seventh minute, which made Maluku FC lose 2-3.

"We were at a loss and it was obvious. From the first we predicted that something like this would happen," said FC Maluku manager Saidna Azhar in Kediri, Thursday.

He said that he had protested against the referee's policy, but the match continued.

"Four minutes of injury time. We counted seven minutes, but the referee hasn't stopped the match either. Even though the captain had protested the time, the coach had protested the time. In the end, we were completely beaten," he said.

His party plans to formally file a protest with the Referee Commission regarding the neutrality of the match equipment.

In that match, Maluku FC players and officials chased and beat the referee. However, the police immediately tried to secure the referee from Kendari City.

Kediri City Police Chief AKBP Wahyudi said that currently the situation had been neutralized. His party has also met the management of Maluku FC and the referee.

"At the end of the match there were a few obstacles but the members had anticipated it, so there were no things that led to more fatal incidents," said the Chief of Police.

The police chief also added that the number of security personnel on alert was 150 people from the Kediri City Police and the TNI. However, with this incident, his party will evaluate security in future matches.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Kediri Hanindhito Himawan Pramana reminded Persedikab not to be complacent about the victory achieved against Maluku FC in the Round of 32 of the National League 3.

The Regent always emphasizes in every Persedikab match so that all players and officials continue to be enthusiastic in competing.

"Obviously today's victory was quite dramatic, because earlier we went from two to one down to three-two," said Mas Bup, his nickname.

He also instructed the players and Persedikab officials to stay focused in the next matches in order to continue to get the three points.

"Don't be discouraged, because now we are still in the last 32. We hope to qualify for the last 16 and can advance to League two," said the Regent.
