Shin Tae-yong's Words After Indonesia Vs Timor Leste: I Strongly Rebuke And Anger The Players

JAKARTA - The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tee-yong admitted to scolding his players during the first half of the match between the Garuda Squad and Timor Leste, Thursday, January 27 evening.

Shin Tae-yong was angry because he was disappointed with the appearance of the Indonesian national team in the first round. Even more so because they were 0-1 down by Paulo Gali's goal.

"I can't judge the performance of just one player, whoever played in the first and second rounds must be evaluated. After the first half was over I reprimanded and scolded players, but I couldn't judge just one player," said Shin Tae Yong at a press conference after the game.

Although the South Korean coach was disappointed with the performance of the Indonesian national team, he realized that this poor performance must be evaluated immediately before the second match between Indonesia and Timor Leste on Sunday the day after tomorrow.

"Indeed, the performance of the first half must be evaluated properly, with a performance like this the Indonesian national team will not be a strong team in Southeast Asia, all players and I have to evaluate, I don't want this to happen a second time," said Shin Tae Yong added.

In the match at I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Bali, the national team fell behind 0-1 through Paulo Gali's goal in the first half. But then the Garuda squad managed to turn things around in the second half through goals from Ricky Kambuaya, Pratama Arhan, and two own goals from Georgino Jose Alexandro and Filomeno.
